Just wondering, which books are you most embarrassed over having not read?

My list is long... but a few for starters:
  • King Lear by W. Shakespeare
  • Mrs. Dalloway by V. Woolfe
  • Great Expectations* by Charles Dickens
  • anything by Steinbeck
*stopped half-way through, had to return to the library after running out of renewals =(

These are the ones off the top of my head. But which ones do you feel like you should've read by now?

  1. The adventures of Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Fin. Why have I not read that book!?

  2. Dare I say it? Romeo and Juliet! And I feel like I should have read a lot more Dickens by now... And Austen. How can I call myself an Austen fan when I've only read half her books???? Thanks for sharing... good question! :)

  3. @Elle - yah, I've never read ANY M. Twain! But after I saw his comments on Jane Austen, I stopped feeling guilty about that =)

@Beks - Ah! It's SO funny! Over Christmas break, we should grab 2 copies and read at least the first act with gusto!
